To provide coordination of professional leadership to promote and support new and existing growth throughout Jefferson County, Missouri
The Jefferson County Growth & Development Association was formed in 1988 to promote Jefferson County to Home Buyers, Builders, and Developers. The organization evolved and grew to include the promotion of all businesses in Jefferson County. In January 2012 the organization was reorganized as the Jefferson County Growth Association (JCGA).
The JCGA has four main pillars of the organization which includes Legislation, Commerce, Tourism, and Industry.
The JCGA provides opportunities for interacting with and hearing from Jefferson County legislators during our State of the County address, Legislative Forum, Meet the Candidates, and Legislative Reception. The
The JCGA created the Shop Jefferson County campaign to promote shopping local businesses. This campaign educates the public about the benefits of shopping locally to grow and enrich the community and demonstrates how sales tax dollars support police, fire, ambulance, library, schools and other
Industry and Business:
The JCGA holds regular Membership Meetings and provides speakers addressing topics focused on business improvement and growth. Through collaborative partnerships with Jefferson College, government subdivisions and local Chamber of Commerce, the JCGA fosters an environment which encourages progressive businesses to thrive in Jefferson County. Events held by the JCGA offer businesses and business owners a number of opportunities for networking and interacting with the community and each other.
Jefferson County has a number of hidden treasures. The JCGA holds events that showcase all that Jefferson County has to offer. The JCGA helps to promote member events, partnerships, and community events. Events like the annual Motorama Car Show; the JCGA's annual Golf Tournament, and partnerships during Twin City Days and various events throughout the county help to bring outside commerce and interest to this community.
