Why Join JCGA
What Our Members Say
Working in the fire service and community service in Jefferson County, it has been my experience that
when organizations and groups work together toward common goals,
the end result will most often be successful!
The networking and visibility available through JCGA
can only lead to great things in Jefferson County.
~ Bill Haggard, Mayor, City of Herculaneum
Being a member is a tremendous opportunity for me to build business relationships as I have only lived in the area for approximately three years. The JCGA provides many events for networking, with the goal to promote and support the growth of all businesses in Jefferson County. I have ample opportunities to build my business based on the information I receive. It’s up to me to take advantage of what the JCGA has to offer and be a part of the growth of my business and the growth of the County.
Being from a small community in northwest Missouri, living and having my business in Jefferson County provides more of a “family” atmosphere. The many events the JCGA has in a professional environment are good. However, the JCGA also provides a casual setting with the annual Golf Tournament and the Motorama Show, where many personal relationships are developed.
All of the JCGA initiatives are important to the growth of the County--One Plan One Voice, Shop Jefferson County, the emphasis on Tourism, the Legislative Programs and a reinstituting of the Manufacturer’s Council..just to name a few.

After relocating our business to Jefferson County in 2012, we discovered JCGA.
We found JCGA to be a strong voice in the county for promoting economic growth.
It has also been a great way to connect with local business people.
We at F. Petrovic Co. Inc. are proud to be members.

Eagle Bank’s membership in JCGA creates connectivity and exposure for the bank with business owners and managers from all walks of life—education, finance, engineering, manufacturing and other industries. JCGA promotes and supports all businesses in Jefferson County, no matter how big or small, with learning (such as the State of the County and Legislative Breakfasts), involvement, professional and relationship building opportunities.
Successes of JCGA initiatives, including the One Plan One Voice, Shop Jefferson County campaign and support for The Safety First Coalition are commonly known and recognized by businesses throughout the county.
